The battle on the ground
Two armies of twenty fight over shifting objectives. Capture them to feed resources to your team’s champion. When the missiles or energy beams start flying, you can see what your squad accomplished from all the way across the battlefield.
My work on Kaiju Watch
I built the gameplay framework in C++ with Unreal’s Gameplay Ability System and wrote the resource systems. I also generated the world layout, implemented the army selection and game-over menus, connected attack and hit animations, and integrated the music.
The jam team
Three of us teamed up for Indie Game Clinic’s 2025 COLLAB JAM. Steve of Eternal Kosetsu built the NPC behavior, objectives, main menu, audio and attack effects. BitGambitGames brought in the Paragon motion-matching animations.
